Abstract: This study was conducted to assess the effectiveness of acupressure on menstrual pain perception among adolescent girls with dysmenorrhea in Teerthanker Mahaveer girl’s hostel at Moradabad. The main aim of this study was to assess the effect of acupressure on menstrual pain perception among adolescent girls, living in the girl’s hostel. A quantitative research approach was adopted and sample was from the adolescent’s girls who are living in girl’s hostel. Structured Andrea Mankoski pain scale was used to measure the level of pain perception. Collected data was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Level of pain perception was tabulated by mean and comparisons in pain perception were known using standard deviation ‘Unpaired T’ test. Association was measured by chi-square test. The study revealed that, during pre test, 5% adolescent girls had mild pain, 88.33% had moderate pain and 6.67% had severe pain during menstrual pain perception. Contrary to this, post test revealed 3.34% adolescent girl had no pain , 43.33% had mild pain and 53.33% had moderate pain during menstrual pain perception. The difference in pain perception reveled that experimental group have mean score of 3.47 with standard deviation of 2.21, while control group have mean score of 4.27 and standard deviation of 1.08. Abstract: Dehydration in neonatal calves with diarrhea caused by metabolic acidosis is a common cause of death. Severely dehydrated calves that are unable to suckle need intravenous fluids for effective resusc itation. The aim of fluid therapy in metabolic acidosis is to replace the water and electrolytes that are lost in the scour. The solutions must have adequate buffers to correct the acidosis, and adequate energy for absorption of fluids from the intestines. Different brands are available, however it is very important to realise that not all electrolyte products on the market fit these criteria, in fact many are far from it. Some researchers claim that LR has a better clinical correction than NaCl, illustrated by more rapid physiological correction, showing that mixed metabolic acidosis was corrected quicker and more appropriately with this treatment. Moreover, hyperosmolality and hypernatremic states were also corrected with both solutions, but more quickly with LR. Hypertonic sodium bicarbonate solutions (1.3-8.4%) are also used in the treatment of metbolic acidosis in calves. Main questions are that how much fluid does a calf lose when it is scouring? What type of fluid is the best? Can I mix the electrolytes with the milk? Aims of this review are find out the correct answers to these questions. Abstract: Animal welfare is a combination of qualitative and quantitative characteristics that determine the living conditions of animals such as health and disease, behavior, care and management in the enviro nment. The concept of prosperity was formerly used only for physical environmental conditions such as accommodation and feeding, which made the animal healthy and productive. For now, it is possible for an animal to come to the top of the conditions it lived in. An animal is in good health if it is healthy, if it is healthy, if it is comforting, if it is well fed, if it is safe, if it can exhibit behaviors specific to the species, if not afraid, without pain, Stress is a very important parameter in terms of animal welfare. Proper nutrition and shelter conditions, adequate humidity and temperature, adequate light and uncompressed stables will allow the animals to be strasted away and to live in prosperity. This will have positive effects on yield and blood parameters. The aim of this article is to compare the occurrence of animal welfare in modern and traditional feeds with current literature. Abstract: Sepiolite has been used in antacid and antidiarrheal drugs for several years because of its adsorptive properties. Another important use of sepiolite is in drilling fluids. Sepiolite is used in drili ng fluids, because the viscosity and gel strength of a sepiolite mud are not affected by variations in electrolytic content. It is suggested that sepiolite will be cause importantant effects on rumen microflora and fauna with its features. An important part of the digestion in the rumen that made up from microfauna created by rumen protozoa. In this study were evaluated the effect orally given sepiolite on rumen protozoa in totally 100 animals (80 experimental and 20 control group) ages between 6 and18 months growth by public in Usak Region. Besides the examination of rumen protozoa, all the animals were examinated regarding to their clinical, haematological and biochemical parameters. It was envisaged that orally given sepiolite would increase the efficiency of the rumen protozoa and higher feed benefits in this study. The present study was considered to be scientifically assessed work of one of the most important values of our contry sepiolite in animal health.
