Abstract: Production of ß-galactosidase enzyme under submerged fermentation was carried out using Aspergillus flavus gr. NFCCI-2728. Optimization of different cultural conditions viz., incubation time, nitrogen source and its concentration, carbon source and its concentration, pH and inoculum size were carried out using one factor at time approach (OFAT) in Czapek’s-Lactose (CL) Medium for enhanced production of ß-galactosidase enzyme. Abstract: The background idea on yoga personal observance is given in the form of an aphorism in astanga yoga (eight limbed yoga). The concept on yoga personal observance scale (YPOS) is developed based on yoga books. The purpose of this paper is to develop a yoga personal observance scale using confirmatory factor analysis. A psychometric analysis of cronbach alpha, validity, reliability, correlation factor loadings, factor extraction from a uni-diagonal matrix, reduced items, fitness indices etc. We used SPSS and AMOS version 25 exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses to develop YPOS. To test the scale, we randomly selected 1,304 participants from general populations of Bhopal city, India. The developed 28-item five factor YPOS comprised standardized regression coefficients with 58.46% variance with a Cronbach’s alpha of 0.76. The results of three different model Fitness categories of indexes with construct, convergent, concurrent validity were also analyzed and found to be acceptable. Abstract: Testing of residual solvent is a primary requirement for any drug substance. These studies provide information about the residual solvents content in Iguratimod with simple, accurate, precise by heads pace gas chromatography. Method by head space gas chromatography with flame ionization detector has been developed and validated to detect and quantitate the specified solvents. Baseline separation in-between the peaks were been achieved by suing capillary column with a flame ionization detector. Percentage recovery obtained in the range of 80-120% and the method is linear for all the specified solvents as per synthesis route of synthesis of Iguratimod. Range for these method is listed for each solvent - Ethanol (50ppm - 7500ppm), Acetone (50ppm - 7500ppm), Isopropyl alcohol (50ppm - 7500ppm), Acetonitrile (20ppm - 615ppm), Dichloromethane (30ppm - 900ppm), Ethyl acetate (50ppm - 7500ppm), Methanol (30ppm - 4500ppm), Pyridine (20ppm - 300ppm), Dimethyl formamide (88ppm - 1320ppm), Benzene (0.2ppm - 3ppm), Nitrobenzene (3ppm - 45ppm). All five methods are having the coefficient of variation (r) not less than 0.99. This proposed methodology was found precise, linear and accurate for the specified range for respective solvents. Abstract: Pranayama techniques are enshrined in the ancient Indian yoga text books. The concept on pranayama health scale (PHS) is developed based on these scriptures. The present study is an attempt to develop a psychometric scale entitled Pranayama Health Scale (PHS) to measure individuals’ physical and mental health and pranic wellbeing. A sample size of 1,253 adolescents was recruited on a convenient sampling basis to evaluate the psychometric properties of PHS. Content validity and face validity were done as a part of theoretical analysis. Construct validity was assessed through Exploratory Factor Analysis and Confirmatory Factor Analysis using SPSS and AMOS version 25. Reliability of the scale was tested using Cronbach’s alpha and Spearman-Brown coefficient. The final scale consisted of 12 items, which produced a latent variable with Spearman-Brown coefficient of 0.97 and Cronbach’s alpha of 0.96. PHS scores are positively correlated (p<0.001) with Yoga Self-Efficacy Scale (YSES). Goodness of Fit indices comprising Absolute, Incremental and Parsimonious fits were also calculates from the scale scores are within the accepted range confirming the validity of the model. Abstract: Aim: The aim of the paper is to develop management strategies to overcome baldheadedness through complimentary medicine system like Ayurveda and the supplement it through yoga techniques. Background b aldheadedness is a worldwide problem that promotes alopecia and it is a dermatological disorder. It may be due to psychological disorder and nearly 2% of world’s population is affected from this disorder commonly known as baldness starts from hair fall. Method A strategic management tool is developed based on traditional and complementary medicine systems. Yoga and Ayurveda methods are used to reduce the hair fall without side effects; unlike in the allopathic systems. In a hair fall due to heat imbalance of three streams of Ayurveda system produced in the brain region which could be overcome by different ayurvedic compositions. This is supplemented with yoga practices. Results A management strategy tool is developed for constant worry management. In addition, one has to practice Hath yoga exercises such as: suryanamaskar (Sun salutation), Tadasana (breath awareness – lying or standing) etc. Yogic exercises helps to come over hair fall. The soft essences of the herbal oil are used to increase nutrients for hair growth. Conclusion: Complementary & alternative medicine may be systematized; further research data to be collected and further study is required to make protocols for therapy purposes. The effect on product parts on various level of process parameters is become a research issue and is now known as finding the efficient frontier of the parameters for good product. The objective of this research paper is to determine the optimized value of input parameters which affects the cycle time and product part in plastic injection molding process during manufacturing of a small container cap with polypropylene work material. In this paper find the optimized parameters like melting temperatures, injection pressure, speed and filling time are used to find the effect on product parts of polypropylene wok material in plastic injection molding process with a number of experiments conducted on plastic injection molding machine which optimize by Taguchi and ANOVA based on responses.Download PDF
